The most luxurious homes don’t just look exquisite; they also live effortlessly. For Jen Moore, founder of Reset Your Nest, organization and function are as much a part of a successful home design as high-end furnishings and custom finishes. Her expertise lies in the details: the perfectly placed dishes, intuitively stocked pantries and carefully considered organizational systems that help a home flow as beautifully as it appears.
There is no shortage of home organization services in the Valley, but Moore’s business takes optimization to the next level.

“A large part of what sets us apart is our relationship with interior designers,” Moore says. “We provide a more luxury-level service, because the designers trust us with their clients and often consult us from the very beginning of the design process.”
Moore’s system, from an overhead view, is fairly simple: get to know the homeowners and how their family operates within the home. Do they entertain frequently? Are lunchboxes packed every day? Is there a handbag collection that needs room to breathe? What space is needed for pets?
Questions like these have helped Moore develop an in-depth Reset Your Nest method, a program each employee is trained in before ever stepping foot on a job. The method touches every facet of a home, from drawer organizing and restocking to functional solutions that are implemented as early as the construction phase. Its procedures can be applied to a brand new build or a new move-in alike (RYN’s Concierge Move service ensures clients never even see a moving box).
The result is a home that owners can step right into living in intuitively. Shea McGee, chief creative officer of powerhouse design firm Studio McGee, utilized RYN’s services for her personal family move and was impressed by how naturally the organization catered to her existing lifestyle.
Studio McGee has since enlisted Moore on many of their design projects, including its Oxford Road Estate, designed with McEwan Custom Homes for the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. Designed for clients Jason and Whitney McGowan of Crumbl fame (and their seven children), the home is a sprawling 25,000-square-foot estate—and its shelves were almost entirely bare.
“This project was a big undertaking, because it was essentially a plan to stock the McGowans’ entire home,” Moore shares.

For Moore, this project was a study in not just organizing a home, but orchestrating a life. In the craft room, Moore divided the room: half for the kids, half for mom. Each child has a bin for ongoing projects, and every drawer is stocked to the hilt with every craft supply imaginable. On mom’s side, room for sewing supplies and a full gift-wrapping station are ready for use at a moment’s notice.
The true heart of this home isn’t the kitchen, but the impressive butler’s pantry. To maximize the efficiency of this workhorse space, RYN divided the pantry into zones. The breakfast zones include decanted cereal and a smoothie station. Nearby, snack foods and Ziploc bags stay in proximity for easy morning lunch preparation. Water bottles and drink packets all live near the ice machine for on-the-go hydration.

“This was a fun space, because it’s not just a pantry but a full working prep kitchen,” says Moore. “This is where most of the household’s cooking will actually take place,” Moore says. With that in mind, the spice drawer of any home chef’s dream is perfectly stacked next to the scullery’s double oven.
Kids’ closets are fully kitted with bins and ample storage. A home theater features a miniature pantry packed with movie candy and individual portion bowls. The laundry room is a marvel of fine-tuned efficiency, with rolling oversize bins and meticulously arranged supplies. And in a back hallway, a display cabinet showcases place settings for a whopping 100 guests.

Though this home was likely far more intensive than the average job, the sheer variety of spaces highlights just how in-depth Moore’s method goes.
“Whether it's a full restock like this or a simple move, our process is always the same,” Moore says. “We get to know the client very intimately, early on. We understand their family, their daily routines, and the parts of their existing home that are slowing them down.”
For Moore, that is the ultimate measure of a well-organized home: that it simply feels natural. When every drawer, pantry and storage space is built around the rhythms of the people who live there, function becomes almost invisible—and with RYN’s eye for design, they support the beauty of a home rather than disrupting it.
